This article details how to schedule a purchase for a customer. If a customer is looking to purchase a ticket but unable to make the payment on the day they can now schedule a future date to make the payment.
Prerequisites
- Access to JLP admin platform
1. Log into JLP admin and Search for the customer profile
2. Click on Buy tickets
Click on Buy tickets to start the ticket purchasing process for the customer.
3. Select the intended ticket to buy
Select the draw the customer is looking to purchase tickets in.
4. Select a ticket book
Select the number of tickets the customer is looking to purchase.
5. Click on Checkout
6. Select the future purchase date
If the customer is not able to make the payment today and would like to make the payment on a future date, select the date picker in the top right of the payment details form. If the customer is making the payment today follow the regular ticket purchase steps.
Please note that if the draw sells out prior to the scheduled purchase date the card won't be charged and the customer will not be eligible to receive a ticket in the specific draw.
7. Select the purchase date
If the customer requests a future purchase date, select the intended date from date picker.
8. Click on Save purchase date
Lock in the purchase date for the ticket
9. Add in the payment details
Select the payment method and add in the customer's card details.
10. Click on Pay in xx days
Select the blue Pay button in the bottom left hand corner of the Payment details form which will stipulate the number of days until the purchase triggers.
11. Payment confirmation
You will be able to see the the confirmation of the scheduled purchase on the screen.
