Updated Debug Tool for Faster, Clearer Content Editing

We've released a new version of the Jumbo Debug Tool designed to make identifying and editing translatable content across the lottery websites even easier and more efficient.

    What’s New

Previously, the Debug Tool allowed you to view translation keys on the page, which you then had to search for manually in the CMS. With the updated tool, you can now:

    • Easily locate editable content – Text that is editable via the CMS is now highlighted in specific colours directly on the page.

    • Copy translation keys instantly – Click to copy the key to your clipboard and paste it straight into Jumbo Lottery Platform (JLP) ClientCMS → Translations.

    • Understand what’s editable – A floating legend helps you identify which content is editable, not editable, or simply visible for reference.

    Highlight Legend

A new legend appears at the bottom right of the screen when Debug Mode is enabled. This gives you a quick overview of what each highlight colour means:

    • Blue: Present on page (TranslateText)

    • Green: Editable via CMS (FormattedMessage)

    • Red: Not editable (FormattedMessage)

How to Enable the Debug Tool

    1. Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store

    2. Add it to Chrome and pin it to your toolbar

    3. Click the extension icon and toggle on “Enable Debug Mode”
