A faster, safer way to manage supporter accounts
We’re excited to introduce Bulk Actions a new feature on the Jumbo Lottery Platform (JLP) that allows Admin users to perform multiple customer account actions at once.
This release streamlines how Operations teams respond to suspected fraudulent behaviour or security incidents. Actions such as ending all active login sessions, locking accounts, removing bounce flags in bulk, or flagging compromised credentials can now be completed directly within JLP Admin, without requiring Engineering support.
What’s new
Admin users with the Bulk Action Import permission can now upload a CSV file containing encoded customer IDs and perform account-level operations across large supporter groups in a single job.
Supported bulk actions include:
- Ending all active login sessions
- Locking or unlocking accounts
- Adding or removing account flags (suspicious, compromised, bouncing email)
- Enabling 2FA and ending active sessions
- Removing trusted devices
Unlike the Bulk Importer, which is used for data migration, Bulk Actions is built specifically for incident response and security management, enabling fast, coordinated action when required.
Safeguards and system behaviour
To protect supporter data and maintain platform integrity, Bulk Actions includes:
- CSV validation to ensure correct formatting and valid encoded IDs
- Optional internal note logging for audit and context
- Suppression of standard system emails (e.g. Account Locked, Account Unlocked) to prevent unnecessary customer notifications
- Controlled Suspicious Activity email frequency, limited to one per supporter every 14 days
Why it matters
The Bulk Actions feature significantly improves operational efficiency and reduces response times during account-related incidents.
Benefits for partners include:
- Faster incident response
- Reduced reliance on technical teams
- Greater control over supporter account management
- Comprehensive event logging and auditability
