We’ve rolled out a series of enhancements to the Jumbo Lottery Platform (JLP) Draw CMS, specifically focused on the Prize Details page across JLP websites. These updates give our lottery partners greater flexibility to create richer, more engaging prize pages making it easier to showcase different prize compositions, highlight additional promotional draws, and provide supporters with valuable information throughout their purchase journey.
What’s new?
Simplified Prize Structure
We’ve removed the single-prize and multi-prize page templates, eliminating the need to choose a layout based on prize structure. Instead, you now have full flexibility to build and customise your prize details page exactly how you want.
Feature Video Support
You can now add a looped feature video (up to 5MB, looping, no sound) as the page header or feature banner.
- Previously, only a static image was supported
- If you prefer not to use a video, you can still use an image as before
- Using a video on the Prize Details page will not impact the lottery homepage the homepage will continue to use the default feature image uploaded in this section
Expandable Content & Child Pages
The Prize Details page now supports expandable content sections, allowing you to effectively build child pages within the main page. These sections can include:
- Text
- Images
- Image galleries
- Custom icons
- Other content blocks
This makes it easier to structure detailed prize information and create a more informative experience for supporters.
Custom Feature Icons
You now have the option to upload custom feature icons.
- Previously limited to preset admin icons
- Now supports lottery-specific and branded icons for greater visual flexibility
Single Image Content Section
A new single image section has been introduced, allowing you to add a standalone image either on its own or paired with text or other content sections.
Improved Image Gallery Uploads
Uploading image galleries is now faster and easier:
- Images can be uploaded in bulk, instead of one at a time
- Saves time when managing larger galleries
Unlimited Content Sections
There’s no longer a limit on content sections. You can now add:
- Multiple expandable sections
- Multiple image galleries
- Multiple text blocks
…all within the same Prize Details page.
Drag & Reorder Sections
All content sections can be dragged and rearranged, making it easy to reorder the page layout and fine-tune the supporter experience.
Linking to content sections
Once sections have been added and published, a unique link will become available for each section. These links can be used in marketing emails or customer communications to take customers directly to the relevant expandable content section containing draw specific information.
Discard changes and retain existing content
You now have the option to discard changes and revert to the last published page by using the Discard changes button at the bottom of the page.
No changes have been made to your current live page, and supporters will continue to see the page exactly as it has been published. While you will see the updated layout and section based structure within the JLP admin, this change has only affected how content is managed behind the scenes. All existing content has automatically moved into the new layout without any edits, removals, or formatting changes, ensuring a seamless transition with no impact to the live customer experience.
