Braze Native Banner Support Now Available

JLP's Braze integration now supports native banner placements, with work continuing to provide marketing teams a purpose-built campaign tool in place of the content card workaround that has been in use. The result is a simpler authoring experience, more campaign flexibility, and better controls for the teams managing Braze day to day.

    Why this matters

Banner campaigns in Braze were previously built on top of content cards - a workaround that got the job done but made campaign setup more cumbersome than it needed to be. Previewing banners, managing placements, and scaling campaigns all required more effort than they should have. Braze's native banner product has been available for some time, and this update brings JLP partners onto it properly.

Work to implement the relevant banner placement locations is still ongoing, with more updates to come.

    What's new

    A better authoring experience

Marketers can now create and manage banner campaigns directly through Braze's native banner tools. This means cleaner campaign management, better preview capabilities, and a more intuitive setup flow - without the workarounds that content card-based banners required.

    Campaign tracking

Banner impression and click data is forwarded to Segment using a server-side approach, providing more reliable tracking than the previous method. When setting up campaigns, tracking metadata needs to be configured as custom properties in the Braze dashboard - your usage guide covers this as part of the campaign setup steps.

    Who this impacts

This update is available to all JLP partners using Braze Content Cards/Banners. Marketing teams will soon be able to begin building native banner campaigns straight away.
