Sign in with Apple now available on web

Supporters can now use Sign in with Apple to register and log in on your lottery website, bringing the same seamless authentication experience they already enjoy on iOS to the web platform.

    Why this matters

Previously, Sign in with Apple was only available on the Jumbo Lottery Platform (JLP) iOS app. Supporters who preferred Apple authentication had no equivalent option on the web, creating an inconsistent experience across platforms. This update closes that gap and reduces friction during registration and login on web.

    What's new

Sign in with Apple on login and registration

Supporters will now see a Sign in with Apple button on the login and registration screens of your lottery website, matching the existing Sign in with Google experience, including a popup style authentication flow.

When a supporter signs up using Apple, their name is automatically prefilled in the registration form. Supporters can also link both Apple and Google to a single account, giving them flexibility in how they log in.

Link and unlink Apple account from account settings

Supporters can manage their Apple account connection directly from their profile. Under Login and Security settings, they can:

    • Link their Apple account to an existing supporter account
    • Unlink their Apple account at any time
    • See clearly whether their Apple account is currently linked

    Apple private email relay notice

If a supporter uses Apple's private email relay (Hide My Email) during registration, they'll be shown an informational modal explaining the privacy relay feature, keeping them informed about how their email is handled.

    Who this impacts

This feature is available for all JLP powered lottery sites. Any partner with CLIENT_CAPABILITY_SOCIAL_AUTHENTICATION_APPLE already enabled will have Sign in with Apple active on web automatically, no additional configuration required.

Note: There are no changes to the existing Sign in with Apple implementation on iOS. This update is web only.
