Custom ribbon messaging for ticket bundles

    Operators can now set custom ribbon labels on ticket bundles, giving marketing teams more flexibility to highlight and differentiate offers in a way that suits relevant campaigns and brands.

    Why this matters

    Previously, ribbon messaging on ticket bundles was limited to a small set of predefined options. This made it difficult for partners to tailor bundle messaging to specific promotions or campaign moments. Ticket book ribbons are now a free text field, providing partners with the ability to define their own ribbon text, so the messaging can be as creative and relevant as required.

    What's new

    Custom ribbon text

    Ribbon labels are now free text fields. The text entered will appear exactly as written across web, app, and Admin surfaces.

    A character limit of 25 applies to custom ribbon text to ensure labels display correctly across all placements.

    Hide the ribbon

    Leaving the ribbon field empty will hide the ribbon entirely for that bundle, giving partners full control over which bundles are highlighted at any given time.

    Who this impacts

    This update is available to all JLP partners. Any operator managing ticket bundles can start using custom ribbon messaging straight away.

    Admin setup

    Ribbon messaging is managed per ticket bundle in JLP Admin. To set a custom ribbon label:

    1. Navigate to Operations > Draw Number > Ticket Management
    2. Edit the relevant bundle
    3. Enter the custom text in the Ribbon field (maximum 25 characters)
    4. Save your changes

    Note: Custom ribbon text will display exactly as entered. Check spelling and capitalisation before saving, as there is no predefined formatting applied to custom labels.
