DrawCMS templates let you build a new draw page from a pre-arranged set of content blocks, based either on a blank standard layout or an existing draw you have already published. Instead of adding each content section one by one, you start with a structure that is already in place and ready to fill in.

Standard and previous draw templates
When you open DrawCMS for a new draw, click Select a template to choose your starting point.
- Standard gives you a blank set of content blocks with no existing content a clean canvas with the structure already in place.
- Previous copies the full layout and content from one of your existing draws. Before applying a previous draw template, click the eye icon next to any draw in the list to preview it and confirm it is the right fit.
Applying a template when content already exists
If your draw page already has content saved, DrawCMS will ask how you want to handle it when you apply a template. Choose Reset to replace all existing content with the template, or Append to add the template blocks below your current content.
Note: Reset will permanently replace your current draft
content. If you are unsure, use Append and remove any unwanted blocks manually.
