This module aims to provide a guide to understanding how to identify and efficiently manage customer account statuses within the Jumbo Lottery Platform (JLP) admin platform service.
Prerequisites
- Access to the JLP admin
- Role capability to view and edit customer accounts
1. How To Unlock A Customer Account
On a customer’s profile page, you will see the Account traits & related actions section. Locate the “Account Locked” tile.
To unlock the customer’s account click the “unlock account” button in the tile.
When you click the “unlock account” button, a pop-up window will appear, providing you with the option to leave a note explaining the reason for the action.
Please note that providing a reason is optional.
Once you have reviewed the details and made any necessary notes, proceed by clicking the blue “Unlock this account” button to finalize the unlocking process.
2. How To Lock A Customer Account
On a customer’s profile page, you will see the Account traits & related actions section. Locate the “Account Locked” tile.
To lock the customer’s account click the “lock account” button in the tile
When you click the “lock account” button, a pop-up window will appear, providing you with the option to leave a note explaining the reason for the action.
Please note that providing a reason is optional.
Once you have reviewed the details and made any necessary notes, proceed by clicking the blue “Lock this account” button to finalize the unlocking process.
3. Deactivating A Customer Account
On a customer’s profile page, you will see the Account traits & related actions section. Locate the “Account activated” tile.
To deactivate an account, click the “deactivate account” in the tile.
When you click the “deactive account” button, a pop-up window will appear, providing you with the option to leave a note explaining the reason for the action.
Please note that providing a reason is mandatory to deactivate an account.
Once you have reviewed the details and made any necessary notes, proceed by clicking the blue “deactivate this account” button to finalize the unlocking process.
Note: If required, you can also add a customer to the banned register by marking the “Select to add customer to banned customer list” box with a tick. To add a customer to the banned list you are required to fill in all customer details.
