The feature placement manager allows an operator to advertise an active draw on the home page ‘hero’ banner. By creating a feature placement, you can increase the exposure of a specific draw to customers viewing your website.
Prerequisites
- Access to the Jumbo Lottery Platform (JLP) Admin
- ‘Edit Feature Placements’ role capability enabled
Placement Conditions
- A placement can be created for a draw that has been created in Admin and set to ‘Open’
- A placement should only appear if the target draw is available (not closed or sold out)
- A placement should auto re-appear if the target draw has been closed and then gets reopened
1. Login To PBJ Admin
Begin by logging into JLP Admin with your username and password.
2. Navigate To Content + Marketing In JLP Admin
Select ‘Content + Marketing’ from the toolbar at the top of the admin panel.
3. Navigate To Placements
Under this option, click “Feature placement”.
4. Create A New Placement
On the feature placement manager page, click “Create a new placement”.
5. Select A Target Draw
Click on the drop-down menu to select a target draw.
6. Enter New Banner Message
Edit the banner’s text content by entering a message in the message field.
7. Enter The Placement’s Duration
You can choose to feature the placement until the close date of the draw by selecting “End of draw” or select a custom end date by selecting “Custom duration”.
8. Preview Your Placement
Click the preview link to see a preview of your placement.
9. Create Your Placement
Click “Create placement” at the bottom of the form.
After about 30 seconds, your placement should appear on the home page’s feature banner.
