The goal of this article is to gain an understanding of the different types of change we support and how to request them.
We categorise changes into three different categories, namely corrective, perfective, and configurative.
The Change Process
Before understanding the different types of change, it may be worth gaining a little background on how we build products at Jumbo, and the different methodology we use to determine what changes are made and when.
The following articles provide a general overview of how we build products:
Corrective Change (Bug Report)
Corrective changes are concerned with fixing issues or errors in how the existing platform works.
Requests of this type are made via Powered by Jumbo support. Often bugs have a workaround and priority on correcting bugs are determined based on the impact and risk that they expose.
Perfective Change (Feature Request)
Perfective changes are concerned with adding new features or functionality to the platform.
Requests are considered on a problem and value basis, considerations are made based on the value created for all users of the platform.
To make a feature request, contact your account manager or submit a ticket to Powered by Jumbo support.
Configurative Change (Platform Config)
Configurative changes concern changes to how the platform is set up to be used for an individual client.
Request to change how the platform is configured for your usage are made via Powered by Jumbo support.
