This article will outline how to create a site wide banner in Jumbo lottery platform (JLP) admin.
Prerequisites
- Access to Jumbo lottery platform (JLP) admin
1. Navigate To The Content + Marketing Page In JLP Admin
Click on Content + Marketing from the menu bar at the top of JLP Admin.
2. Select Content
Select Content from the left-hand toolbar.
3. Search For The Banner Markdown
Use the search field to search for the banner markdown:
‘site.sidewide-banner.description’
4. Press Edit And Add Amend Content To Your Choice
Once the text becomes editable, content or text description can be added to the description box. The text can be edited, links can be added and text can be aligned from within this box.
6. Save To Complete And Confirm Changes.
Once happy with the text press save to confirm the text added or changes made.
7. Next Step Is To To Enable This Banner On The Front End.
In order to enable this banner on the front end, navigate to the ‘Operations’ tab on the main bar. Head to ‘Developer Tools’ and select ‘Cluster config’
8. Search For The Cluster Config For The Newly Added/Edited Banner
Press CTRL + F on your keyboard to pull up a quick search bar to find the newly added/edited banner. Search for the ‘Sitewide banner’ Once this brings back the banner – select this the checkbox should turn blue once enabled.
9. Once Enabled – This Will Be Shown On The Front End Site.
Newly enabled cluster configs can take an average of 5 minutes to show up on the front end site. Once available it will automatically show. If needed cache’s may need clearing from the web browser.
