This article provides instructions on how to process purchases for customers on a Powered by Jumbo Point of Sale device.
Prerequisites
- Access to a Powered by Jumbo Point of Sale device
- Level of admin access required to be able to add customers, access customer accounts and process a purchase on a customer’s behalf
- Capabilities required include “Add Customer” and “Can Purchase Tickets”
1. Login To The Powered By Jumbo Sales Terminal
Enter your Powered by Jumbo username and password.
2. For New Customers, Tap The ‘Create New Account’ Button
The button is located on the bottom right side of your screen.
3. Fill Out The Form With The Customer’s Information
After filling out the form, tap on the ‘Create and buy’ button
4. If The Customer Already Has An Account, You Can Use The Search Bar To Locate The Customer’s Account
You can search using the customer’s email address, mobile number or first and last name.
5. Review Customer Details, And Tap ‘Buy Tickets’
Upon selecting the customer, a window with the customer’s details will appear. Review these details, and once satisfied, tap on the ‘Buy tickets’ button.
6. Select The Draw That The Customer Would Like To Purchase A Ticket In

8. Review The Subscription Page
‘Subscription’ and ‘Autoplay’ are features that automatically purchase tickets for the customer in future draws.
Depending on the customer’s preference, you can enable or disable this feature by tapping on the Subscription toggle.
Once you have reviewed the Subscription page and are satisfied, click on the ‘Next’ button.
9. Review The Customer’s Cart
On this page, you have the option to add tickets to the cart by tapping on the available draws on the left side of the screen.
Once the order has been finalised, tap on ‘Checkout’ to go to the payment method page.
10. Select The Customer’s Preferred Payment Type
Once on the ‘Payment Method’ page, select the preferred payment method from the available options. Once you’ve entered the required payment details, the ‘Checkout’ button will become available.
Upon tapping ‘Checkout’, the receipt will be automatically printed out on a paired ticket printer.
Please note that if the customer has a subscription or Autoplay item in their cart, the only option available would be to pay by Credit/Debit card
Tap on the ‘+’ button and enter the customer’s credit card details manually. The customer will then swipe or insert their card on an external POS device.
11. Review The Order Details
On this page, you can view the Order ID, reprint the receipt and view a digital copy of the receipt. Tap ‘Done’ to return to the home page.
You can also logout from the system by tapping on the navigation panel icon on the right-hand side of your screen and tapping on ‘Logout’.
The ‘Start over’ button at the bottom of the navigation panel allows you to abandon a ticket sale before it is purchased.
