Upon completion of this section, you will be able to complete a draw using the Auto create from Draw feature in the End of Draw Tools.
Prerequisites
- A Jumbo Lottery Platform (JLP) admin account with the correct permissions
- A JLP instance configured with a jackpot product
- Entries list in the correct format
Navigate To End Of Draw Tools
1. Log In To JLP Admin
Visit https://admin.<yourlotterydomain>.com and enter your JLP admin username and password.
2. Navigate To The End Of Draw Tools
Click on Lottery from the main menu bar.
Select the draw number that you wish to score in the Draws requiring attention table.
Select the End of draw tools option from the left menu bar.
Auto create From Draw Info
1. Add A New Draw Sequence
Click the Auto create from draw info button.
A pop-up window will appear. Use the draw information to automatically create a draw sequence. You can optionally enter a new draw sequence name.
Click on Create draw sequence to create the new draw sequence.
2. Upload Entries List In The Correct Format
Click the Upload an entries list CSV button as shown below.
Upload the entries list from your computer and confirm by clicking Upload selected CSV.
The draw sequence should now be available and ready for selecting the winning ticket numbers.
3. Edit Prize Draw
Click on the edit prize draw button to alter the following:
- Prize name
- Win chance
Win chance is the certainty of drawing a winning result. Set this value to 100% if a winner is required or lower the percentage as required for jackpot-style prizes.
Click Add this draw prize to save any changes.
4. Draw The Winners
To start drawing a winner, click Draw x winner in each of the division prizes.
Once a winner is drawn, it will show an option to view the ticket purchase report.
The ticket purchase report includes:
- Purchase details
- Customer details
- Ticket numbers
- Customer’s total valid spend in the draw
- Other tickets in the draw that the customer purchased
If the ticket details are valid for this draw, select the blue Print this record button at the bottom of the page to print off the winner’s details for auditing purposes.
Click Back to End of Draw Tools to continue the end of draw process.
5. Reject Duplicates
Results that appear multiple times on the prize draw are flagged as shown below.
To remove a duplicated entry, simply tick the checkbox beside the warning text and click Reject selected at the bottom of the draw sequence.
You will be prompted to enter a reason for rejecting the entries. Once you have filled it out, select Reject results to finalise the rejection.
6. Draw Additional Entries
To draw additional entries for a prize after rejecting duplicates, set the number of winners to draw by clicking the edit button:
Enter the number of extra entries you would like to draw. The system automatically suggests the number of entries to draw based on the number still required to complete the draw.
Click Draw x winners.
7. Record A Manual Winner (Optional)
To record a manual winner, navigate to the prize draw sequence.
Select Record a manual winner.
Enter in the relevant winner’s details:
- Winner’s ticket number (required)
- Winner’s customer ID (optional)
- Date winner was drawn (required)
The winner’s customer ID is optional. The winner’s ticket number and date winner drawn are required.
To save the winner’s details, select Record this winner.
The approved winner has now been entered into the draw sequence’s prize draw. A blue label will denote that this winner was recorded manually.
8. Approve Winning Entries
Please note that you will not be allowed to approve selected results if there are entries that appear multiple times at the prize draw level or if the results are less than the required number of entries.
Once you have all your required entries, tick the Select all in sequence checkbox and click Approve selected.
You will then be prompted to confirm the approval. Select Approve results to confirm the winners. The winning entries will not be published at this time.
9. Publish Winning Entries
To publish winning entries for all prize draws, simply click the Publish all divisions buttons
Once you confirm that the division winners are correct and can be published on your website, click the Publish winners button.
