We’re excited to introduce the new Scheduled Purchase feature, which allows supporters to buy charity lottery tickets via the call centre and nominate a future date for the payment. This way, they can ensure they never miss a draw, even if they’re unable to make the payment immediately.
Benefits:
- Give players the flexibility to pay when it suits them: Players can buy ticket/s over the phone, and choose to pay on a future date. This flexibility is especially useful if they encounter issues such as insufficient funds or technical difficulties with their payment.
- Ensures players never miss a draw: Players can set up a subscription over the phone, and choose to pay for the first ticket/s on a future date. The subscription will commence once payment for the first ticket/s has been received.
How it works:
- When players are speaking with the call centre team, they can purchase a ticket and nominate a future date for the payment.
- The call centre operator schedules the payment to ensure it will be automatically processed on the chosen date.
- Players can also choose to sign up for a subscription. This will commence on the date the payment is made.
- If the draw sells out before the customer’s scheduled payment date, they will no longer be able to buy tickets from that draw and won’t be charged.
