This article covers what supporters see when bonus funds are enabled on your platform, and how they use them.
Where supporters see their balance
When bonus funds are enabled on your platform, supporters see their balance in My Account > Bonus Funds.
This page shows:
- Their total available bonus balance
- A breakdown of each unexpired deposit, including amount and expiry date
- A countdown to expiry where an expiry date is set
- A full history of past bonus fund deposits
Using bonus funds at checkout
Bonus funds sit in the supporter's wallet and can be used at checkout alongside any other wallet balance.
Note: Bonus funds cannot be withdrawn or transferred. They can only be spent on ticket purchases.
At checkout, the supporter toggles Wallet funds on to apply their available balance, including bonus funds, then selects Pay with available funds. Bonus funds are used as part of their wallet balance.
Whether the Wallet funds toggle is on by default depends on your platform's Prioritise Wallet Funds in Checkout setting.

Expiry
Where an expiry date has been set, funds expire at 11:59 PM server time on the nominated date, not the supporter's local time. A countdown to expiry is shown on the Bonus Funds page for any deposit with an expiry date.
