The banned customers table is the central list your Jumbo Lottery Platform (JLP) site uses to identify banned supporters. Normally a record is created when you ban a customer from their profile, but you can also add one directly - useful when you want to block someone who doesn't have an account yet - or edit an existing record.
Before you start
You'll need the Ban edit admin permission.
Adding a ban record
- Go to
Admin > Operations > Fraud tools > Banned customersand click Add banned customer.
- Enter the customer's details.
Note: The required fields depend on what you've entered. For example, if you only enter a first name you'll also need a date of birth, while a pattern needs no other fields. Admin tells you what's missing when you click save.
- Click Save. The record appears in the table.
Editing a ban record
- In the banned customers table, click the timestamp of the record you want to change.
- The record opens with its details pre-filled. Update what you need.
- Click Save. The table updates with the new details.
What happens next
Any supporter who creates an account matching the record is banned automatically. The account is created and immediately banned, they see a message asking them to contact support, and a customer banned event is recorded on the new account.
